Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT) Decisions
Most disputes that leaseholders and their landlord or management company cannot resolve between themselves can be taken to a Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT). LVTs are part of the The Residential Property Tribunal Service, a public body charged with providing an affordable, fair, unbiased service.
The LVT is binding can adjudicate on matters such as
- insuring the building
- how much you have to pay in service charges
- the quality of services provided
- how much you have to pay to extend your lease
- how much you have to pay to buy the freehold of your building.
We have set out the LVT decisions and determinations in six schedules. The schedules are produced by LEASE as a service to our users and do not form any part of the relevant LVT determinations; neither do they represent the views of the LVT panels other than where quoted.
Please note that you can search for keywords within the decisions themselves by using the search box to the right of this page.
The decisions contained within this area of the site are computer generated from the paper based originals, and are of variable size and quality. The decisions and decision tables may take some time to load.
